Ideas and insight are like honey and biscuits; they’re meant to be shared. Pick a medium below and blow our socks off with an original idea or insight.
Medium
Submissions to be considered for publication in a KB almanack must fall within one of the following categories:
- Article
- Short essay (150-400 words)
- Long essay (up to 4000 words)
- Short fiction (including graphic fiction)
- Commentary
- Verse
- Original aphorism (up to 6)
There are no charges or fees.
Rules
- Individual authors may submit manuscripts in more than one category.
- Each submission must include the author’s name, a brief bio, and the author’s contact information.
- A head shot (jpg or png) of the author is optional.
- Because of resource constraints, only selected manuscripts will be acknowledged.
- Manuscripts may be submitted from December 1st up to June 1st in the following year.
- Submissions must be sent in the body of an e-mail message with no attachments: kingsleybooks1@gmail.com
Selection
- KB will select for publication more than one submission in each category.
- Submissions will be judged on the basis of the quality of the content and the readability of the text.
- Selected authors may be asked (never coerced) to make small changes to their manuscript(s) previous to publication.
